COALHOUSE CAMPBELL
Coalhouse Campbell has been aound film all his life. Watching his father cut the the documentary feature "Stepping Razor Red X", he knew this is where his passion was.
Coalhouse landed various supporting roles on several Canadian television shows but the drive to create and direct took him to Vancouver Film School. There he got hands on training and learned all aspects of film and television production.
Rock Dem Sock Dem
Canadian born Coalhouse Campbell embarks on a journey to Japan. His Grandfather was Japanese but his early death left the family isolated from the Japanese side. Coalhouse's love of Hockey facilitates his trip when he is able to sign with a team in the Japanese Industrial League combining his search with his passion. Anticipation turns to disappointment when he learns that hockey is near extinction and information about his Grandfather is proving difficult. Discouraged Coalhouse heads into a reggae bar and discovers kindred spirits amid the Japanese people and their love of reggae music, taking Coalhouse on the personal journey he was seeking.
