DALLAS KOLOTYLO

My name is Dallas Levi Jerome Kolotylo, I was born October 27, 1984 in Edmonton Alberta (that makes me 25 years old right now) Ive lived most of my life in BC. From 7-17 in a tiny mountain town of 3000 people, a couple years in calgary, the past five in Victoria on Vancouver Island and the past six months or so In Vancouver. I have a passion for travel and documentary style photography, but that really comes from loving people. Almost any picture I take will have some type of portraiture element to it I find, and thats where I really want to go with my photography. I love capturing the tiny moments in between what we see blurring together. Sometimes I like to create what I saw in my head too, and that takes some extra work, though Im not very good at the digital art thing. I plan on chipping away at the wall of photographers out there until I get enough positive feedback to be noticed. I like to be different, and sometimes that makes it hard to actually

be recognized as a photographer, but I do what I like.
