GABRIEL  GRAHAM


   Also known as 1977, Gabriel Graham works out of Toronto. His postmodern work is both stimulating and chaotic, Influenced by Dreams, 1980s television broadcasting, and internet culled imagery.


The label 1977 was taken to obscure his recognition by name, avoiding the indulgent obsession with notoriety, and the inclination to create art that is overtly inaccessible.

Gabriel Graham evolved from a formal artistic education to produce posters and album covers for various musicians throughout the scene, and build installations dealing with issues of popular culture and the media.

Gabriel Graham will be displaying 6 Murals in Holt Renfrew from November 1 2009 - May 1 2010.
