Gayle Arnold was born in 1987 in Vancouver, British Columbia. She began painting at age eight. It was evident right away that Arnold was a natural. After graduating high school in June 2005 Arnold was accepted into Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She graduated from Emily Carr with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in 2009 and has been a professional artist ever since. She has been featured in many group exhibitions around Vancouver and one international exhibition in Toronto, Ontario. She has had two solo exhibitions, one of which was the result of a residency in Montréal, Quebec.

Creating art is Gayle's passion and she is not limited to painting. She also works in photography and songwriting.
