KerryLee Manuel
KerryLee was born and raised in Williams Lake, British Columbia. She later moved to Vernon and Calgary and now resides in Langley. She has participated in numerous competitions and festivals such as the Hall of Fame National Singing Finals and Tribute to the Grand Ole Opry in Calgary, Cloverdale Country Fest, Cloverdale Rodeo, BC Talent Search and BCRA Rodeo Finals 1996 in Salmon Arm. KerryLee placed second in the Hall of Fame Canadian National Singing Finals held in Calgary in June 2001 performing her own material. She re-qualified for the 2002 National Finals and went on to Nashville to record two of her written pieces. " Built to Break", which was written in 1999, was played on various radio stations in Central BC and Australia. KerryLee has now completed her first full length cd, co-written and produced by Don Harte of Harte Music Productions. It is called "Take It Away" and is available through www.hartemusic.com, as well as cd baby, itunes and at both HMV and Chapters. She will be donating partial proceeds of all CD sales to breast cancer research, which is very near and dear to her heart as she watched her mom travel this tough road.
