THANYA, EMILIE AND ALI


    Once upon a warm and sunny september afternoon in 2008, Thanya (violin, vocals, piano, beat boxing) and Emilie (flute, harp, vocals) met in a far distant land. Not really having ever spoken - ever, Emilie thought aloud : "Oh! How I wish I could partake in a cool British Indie Rock Band! *Sigh* ". Thanya responded with " OH MY GOD! ME TOO!" and then things got a-rollin'...

One day, while Thanya and Emilie were rehearsing, a young thriving bass playing individual named Ali Baba heard sweet melodies coming from the adjacent practice room. With her swinging bass lines and funky style, the duo...became a TRIO!!!

The Indie/Folk trio is now making their way into the Montreal music scene, experimenting with different styles and instrumentation."
