THE  PONDEROSAS

    The Ponderosas are a diverse group of musicians who share a passion for rhythm and blues and upbeat roots music. The band members contribute various styles. Percussionist Chris Couto plays a snappy blend of Afro Cuban beats. Bass guitarist Charles Vallieres lays down his own unique funky groove. Vocalist and lead guitarist Janette King favours blues, rhythm and blues, and soul music. Vocalist and rhythm guitarist Kristie McCracken is inspired by traditional folk rock, jazz, and soul music. Together they captivate audiences with their beautiful harmonies. The Ponderosas create positive energy that can evoke powerful emotions from their audience.
